Missions

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

At Sovereign Grace Church our mission is “to bring about the obedience of faith in all nations for the sake of His name.” Romans 1:5

We believe it is the church’s responsibility to train and send missionaries to plant churches among unreached language groups. (Matthew 28:18-20; Romans 15:20; 2 Timothy 2:2). We also believe our church should always be praying for, encouraging, and equipping church leaders in under-resourced, under-equipped and persecuted churches (Matthew 9:38; James 2:15,16). We believe our church should be involved in local church planting, evangelism (Romans 10:5-21) and mercy ministries (Luke 12:33, 14:13; James 1:27).

Sent Missionaries

Sovereign Grace has missionaries in Indonesia, Laos, and Tijuana. We also have many more being trained and raising support to plant churches all around the world. We do not publish information on our current missionaries to protect their privacy but if you would like to financially support and pray for our missionaries please contact Joel Heppner for more information.

Training Missionaries

Sovereign Grace has had the privilege of helping start a missionary training organization

Radius International was started in 2010 with the goal of training missionaries to plant churches among unreached language groups in a pioneer context. They equip cross-cultural workers with the tools needed to be effective and avoid unnecessary attrition before the task is complete.

Missionary

Missionary inspires and educates local churches to better follow the Great Commission by providing trusted resources to prepare them to send missionaries to peoples who have never heard of Christ.

Missionary is co-founded by our Senior Pastor, Chad Vegas.

Paton Society

The Paton Society exists to glorify God by connecting, inspiring, equipping, and supporting Presbyterian and Reformed missionary teams. Their primary mission is to see confessional, means-of-grace churches planted among unreached language groups.
